September 8, 2020: BLZ BluzelleNet 1.0 Phase 2: Production Mainnet Launch

Production Mainnet will be a relaunch (hard fork) that will be very similar to the soft Mainnet, but with some of the “safety-catch” removed. Here are some extra features to expect:

  • The Ethereum bridge relayer is to be operated autonomously, meaning BLZ/BNT swaps will happen constantly 24/7 instead of only with human mediation (which is the case for Phase 1);
  • More elegant versions of the mobile wallet app in place will be introduced;
  • Updated and tested versions of other client libraries are about to be ready for public use (vs Phase 1 which will only have official JS support).

XRPL Labs expects to issue the 0.7.0 beta version in late Q3 of this year, and Xumm 1.0, the first non-beta version of the mobile app, in early Q4. The company also shares what’s in store for Xumm next year.
